She & Him on NPR & videos

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve had She & Him in heavy rotation lately. I love the combination of indie hottie Zooey Deschanel’s voice mixed with indie folkie M. Ward’s guitar playing. Its a nice, fresh throwback to Dusty Springfield, Nancy Sinatra, and maybe even a little Linda Ronstadt.
They performed on NPR’s World Cafe’s Lillywhite Session on Wednesday. Listen here.

Zooey looks a little stiff, but I bet with time she’ll get comfortable. She’s adorable. Can’t wait to see them live.
Thanks for this post. I’m loving Zooey Deschanel at the moment. Her old time voice along with mellow, romantic tunes, sometimes a little upbeat.
Plus… I like her style.
