Thisisthelast…Juno Movie Review
January 3rd, 2008 . by Jilly
I saw Juno this week. I really liked this movie. It really flowed from beginning to end, in a way you wouldn’t expect from a movie that’s about teenage pregnancy. The characters seem like real people and they’re very likable. Juno finds out she’s pregnant, she tries to get an abortion, but can’t go through with it. She knows that she’s ill-equipped so she decides to find the best parents possible for the baby. This movie starts out like its going to be a silly comedy and ends beautifully, perfectly.
I was enchanted by the simple songs of Kimya Dawson throughout the whole movie.
i loved this movie too!i really wanna buy it when it comes out.plus it was really nice to be able to see an indie film that wasnt rated R.
[...] I was enchanted by the simple songs of Kimya Dawson throughout the whole movie. This is the Last So, Juno might be the best movie of the year. The combination of a smart, witty script, an engaging story, and an absolutely perfect performance from Ellen Page that all click together for a movie that just works on all levels. Kevin’s Blogarrhea I have to admit right now that this movie made me cry as well as laugh. (Yes, I’m a crybaby when it comes to sappy movies.) Deciding to give up your child for adoption is something I could personally never do and I admire the character, Juno (played by Ellen Page), for having the strength to carry through her decision. A lot of women, let alone teen mothers, can’t do that. I know it’s just a movie, but still. It happens in real life as well. And don’t say I gave it away because everyone knows that that is what the movie is about. [...]
juno=waste of time…. i think i want to go to business or law school now so i don’t ever come into contact with someone of such low stature. er i mean golly gee that movie was so hip and related to me. i’m just like her in so many ways…. so cute and related to my era…. wow i mean wow… (sarcasm dually noted!) brandon i\’m sure this commercial of a film was meant for people like me but they could have summed it up in 30 seconds. and saved everyone\’s time. i feel bad for the projections that had to spew this trash out of them. \”retrospect\” please use another phrase because this film deserved no such word greater than 4 letters. good day and great review!
