Girl in a Coma to Open for Morrissey

Girl in a Coma fulfilled a lifelong dream when they were asked to open for Morrissey on his UK dates. Girl in a Coma is an all-female rock trio from San Antonio, TX. Apparently Moz had Kristeen Young scheduled to open for him for a bunch of dates on this tour, but he had to let her go, after she made some rather uncouth remarks about Morrissey, while onstage.
I don’t know if opening for someone that you adore is a good thing or a bad thing. But I like the sound of these ladies. They’re also going to be on an upcoming episode of LA Ink (which is one of my guilty pleasures).
