Its contest time again at Thisisthelast. Two lucky winners will be receiving a vinyl copy of Oasis’ new single “Lord Don’t Slow Me Down“.

Oasis are preparing to release a double DVD set, entitled “Lord Don’t Slow Me Down”. This documentary will give you the option of voice over commentaries from the band, a Noel Gallagher Q & A session with fans from New York City, out takes from the film, and a second 90 minute bonus disc capturing the band’s homecoming show at the City of Manchester Stadium together with footage sent in by fans from around the world who attended that show.

Lord Don’t Slow Me Down DVD will be released on November 6, 2007.
Oasis is currently preparing a brand new album for release in 2008.

The craziest t hing I have ever read about the Gallagher brothers it that they were helping the Hoff with a album of Oasis covers.

And that noel let the Hoff use his wheeler end studios for free

The craziest thing I’ve ever heard about Oasis is something cooncerning Noel..not the story about cocaine on cornflakes but the story of Noel’s first approach with sex.I read this on a Oasis biography.He was in the bed with his girlfriend-he was 13- and they heard someone knockin’on the door.They didn’t care about that but this person kept knockin’ for a long time.When they moved out the flat,they heard that the person who was trying to pay their attention was the poor doorkeeper surprised by an heart attack!

The craziest thing i ever read about Oasis was the transcript of ‘Wibbling Rivalry’ which was an interview they recorded drunk. BRILLIANT!!

The craziest thing that I have ever read about the Gallagher brothers would have to be when Noel beat Liam with a cricket bat!

This was during the recroding session for Morning Glory and Alan White had just joined the band. Noel’s quote later on said Alan thought he had just joined the trogs!

The fight started out inside with broken down doors and and then ended up outside on the lawn with Noel hitting Liam with the cricket bat!

I would love to see this on video!

it has to be liam being thrown off a plane and the whole band banned from the airline because liam got into an arguement over a scone. he then went on to say the pilot needed stabbing with a pick axe, and that he’d rather walk to austrailia than take that plane again.

the craziet thing I ever read as in the Sun UK, they had a huge article about how they were sure Liam had six toes! They had photos and everything! LIAM DOES NOT HAVE SIX TOES!!!

Recently I read something about the end of feud within Oasis and Blur… I think it’s really funny because of the years of rivality.
Now, Noel likes Daemon Albarn, haha, this is really crazy…

I run a very successful Oasis group on the Facebook web sites, and I read new information on Oasis everyday. One day I came across the weirdest, yet coolest thing I have ever read! I actually saved the article because I thought it was so weird. So here it is….

-Oasis To Launch Hotel Chain

Oasis rockers Liam and Noel Gallagher are to launch a hotel chain in America.

The rock ‘n’ roll siblings are reportedly planning to use titles of their smash hits as room themes in hotels located across the US, including Miami, New York and West Hollywood.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “The plan is to open as many hotels as possible by the end of 2007 and name each venue Supernova Heights, after Noel’s former home in north London. They want to base rooms at one of the Miami venues around ‘The Hindu Times’ song.”

Liam and Noel are also said to have got some of America’s most influential financial investors interested in the project.

The source added: “They will both fly to New York and meet a business developer who has worked for a string of leading property moguls, including Donald Trump.”

Despite the hype surrounding the plans, it appears some of Liam and Noel’s more wild ideas have not gone down well with developers.

The source explained: “Their plan to install alcohol and cigarettes in every room of their New York hotel, in honour of their track ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’ has gone down like a lead balloon because so many people are anti-smoking.”

Other tracks being considered as room themes by Liam and Noel include ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Songbird’ and ‘All Around The World’.

That has to be one of the craziest and weirdest things I have ever read about the Gallagher brothers, but I know I speak for millions when I say I would frequent those hotels often! Cheers to ya…PICK ME!

I read something about the two brothers getting into a big, drunken, broken beer bottle bar fight with each other….

.. that may have been in a gossip mag though, so I don’t know if it’s true

Noel had 2 cats named Benson & Hedges.
Liam had sex with a fan in the bathroom of a supermarket.
Noel collects about over 90 guitars.
Before the “What’s the story?morning glory” era,Noel played an acoustic set in a japanese subway station and no one recognized him.
Everyday after he woke up,Liam used to drink a glass of whiskey.

The craziest thing I read was where in December 2002, Oasis’ European tour had to be postponed after Liam lost his front two teeth in a drink & drug fuelled brawl with some businessmen (initially rumoured to be Italian gangsters) at a Munich hotel. The fight allegedly began after Liam and members of the Oasis entourage had been flicking peanuts at the men. The clubs DJ then unwittingly played an Oasis record which prompted Liam and then drummer Alan White to jump on a table singing along loudly. One of them collapsed on to the table of the businessmen and a fight broke out, during which most of the hotels furniture was destroyed and two of Oasis’ security team were knocked unconscious. At one stage, Liam was swinging a brass stand around his head at his opponents. When police moved in to end the violence, one was kung-fu kicked by Liam while trying to arrest him. Liam and the others were only released after the bands management paid out £170,000 in bail. Noel Gallagher missed the whole episode as he was in bed at the time. Liam had to undergo expensive dental surgery and was later fined £35,000, with part of the money going to the injured policeman.

I love oasis. the craziest thing I read was ‘About Best Album’.
