Radiohead’s ‘In Rainbows’ - Bits & Bobs
October 13th, 2007 . by JillyWhat do you think of the album? I like it better than Thom Yorke’s solo project, and the last few Radiohead albums. I need to give it a couple more listens, before I write about it.
The Chicago Tribune reported on Friday that In Rainbows has been downloaded 1.2 million times. But what I want to know is has everyone been paying, because you know £0.00 was an option too? What’s the average amount that people have thought that the album is worth?

NYC’s Gothamist chatted with Johnny Greenwood this week. Did I mention he has amazing cheek bones? Here’s a short excerpt…
Why give people the option to pay whatever they want? It’s just interesting to make people pause for even a few seconds and think about what music is worth now. I thought it was an interesting thing to ask people to do and compare it to whatever else in their lives they value or don’t value.
Have you gotten any figures of how much people are choosing to pay? No we get the numbers tomorrow supposedly. Yeah, I don’t know. The more exciting thing for me is just hearing it on the radio today and knowing it’s landed on everybody’s desk at the same time. That’s what’s exciting. But yeah, I’m sure our manager will have some idea soon.
I paid 10 bucks…. and i quite like it… I dont think it has any epic songs…. but generally they are all pretty decent….
