New Beirut Video - “Elephant Gun”

Today my friends are going back to Australia. Daniel and Michelle’s wedding was yesterday. Congratulations guys!!! I have been having such a nice time being a tourist in my own town.

The song “Elephant Gun” cracks me up. As a disillusioned trumpet player myself, playing in the ocean I hate, as the waves break all around me, I can truly identify with the lead singer. I too just want to be remembered as a drunken singer and horn player who gets supported by his mates as I fall down while the world around me just goes nuts. A beautiful video and song Jilly thanks for sharing it with me. It made my day! Beirut is now my new favorite band. That means everyone else now needs to find something new, because Beirut is getting to popular. Ouch..
