Cornelius has been working on a new album. Sensuous is set to be released on April 24. Later in the year, a DVD will be released with videos for all the songs on the new album. Word on the street is that Cornelius will probably tour after the album comes out. He is playing Coachella this year.
Cornelius is Keigo Oyamada’s creation. He’s a pop-noise genius. I’ve seen Cornelius play just once, and it was like candy to my ears. They have visuals projecting on a screen behind them that match the music that they’re playing. Some say Cornelius is an aquired taste, but I think he makes refreshingly interesting music.
Here’s their video for one of my favorite songs by them…
My friend Jeff, over at Syntax of Things, put up this quiz about Moz on Monday…

The reality TV star and former model was 39.
This is too sad. She was the butt of everyone’s jokes (myself included). Even if she deserved the criticism, I hope everyone will leave her family alone now. Let them have peace.
In addition to contributing to the new Massive Attack album, she’s also working on an album. From her official website…
The debut solo album from Elizabeth Fraser is to be released in the Spring of 2007. Apparently the album will feature eight new tracks and one cover version. No titles have been given yet.
Have you heard the great lineup of artists that will be collaborating on the upcoming Massive Attack album? Former Mazzy Star frontwoman Hope Sandoval,TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe. Horace Andy and Liz Fraser will also lend their vocals again. And just today I heard that Damon Albarn has been added to the roster.
There is no release date posted yet, it might be coming out in about year. The working title is currently Weather Underground.
