This Is The Last…

A while back now my friend Tim told me Ian MacKaye had a new album with a new band, called the Evens. The band consists of only two members (Ian and Amy Farina) where they both sing and play guitar and drums. Nothing fancy here, just basic rock from one of my favorate personalities in music of all time. Great catchy songs that sound completely simple and familiar to me. I enjoy listening to their record every time.

So Ian and Amy recorded a second album entitled ‘Get Evens’ in the basement of the Dischord House. Here’s the track listing:

It’ll be available November 6th with a tour to follow. No dates have been announced, but I doubt a trip to Australia is in the cards. But if they come to a town nearby, you should go. I’ve heard good things about their live preformances.
