HÆTTA!

On January 7th 2006 the rare event will happen that iceland’s biggest names in music will come together and play at a concert called HÆTTA!. This is all done in the purpose to remind people that the icelandic nature is special and should be treated like such. All the artist will give their work and most of the staff working for the concert also.
The concert will be hold in Laugardalshöllinn and the icelandic artists who are playing are: Björk, Múm, Sigur Rós, Ham, Magga Stína, Hjálmar, KK, Rass, Ghostigital and Egó. And then there are the almost icelanders: Damon Albarn, Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan.
I want to come….!!!! As a first degree viking i think its only right!
I agree!!! I think you should definitely come!! You can use this opportunity to get your second degree as well…
Where do i sign up? I’m all for passing my second degree…what is involved?
What’s involved?? hehehehe i think you know deep down what’s involved…i can’t tell you too much but well it has something to do with nakedness and we still have that Brennivín taste left to do. so i guess that
you’ve not too much to be scared or worry about.
HI AGAIN! I love Icelandic bands and I have to say that I saw Mum a couple years ago in Seattle and I really liked their performance. I don’t know if you’re a fan but if you see them you should update and say what you thought of the show.
Of course, I also love Bjork and Sigur Ros! (Actually, my love of Bjork inspired my trip to Iceland five years ago. We were hoping the whole time to see her do an impromtu show but no dice!)

Liz: I am a Múm fan and I just love seeing them play live! How they run around the stage changing instruments all the time… for me it’s just magical. So I’ll tell you all about the concert later…
The green eyed girl: Well luv what can I say?? Level 1 and 2 are pretty easy but level 3 that’s when it really starts to become difficult but I have faith in you… so don’t worry. You’ll soon enough become a true viking!
