Is There Something I Don’t Want to Face?

I read on Pitchfork some bittersweet news about one of my favorite bands the Trembling Blue Stars. They make some of the most beautiful dream pop about being tortured and broken-hearted.
The good new is that they’ll be releasing a new album next year and will be touring in the US this month. The bad news is that after this, they’re all done.
Dates:
09-24 Hoboken, NJ - Maxwell’s
09-27 Philadelphia, PA - Mill Creek Tavern
09-28 Washington, DC - DC9
09-29 New York, NY - Magnetic Field
09-30 New York, NY - Rothko
10-01 Northampton, MA - Popfest!
I really like this band. i think i might crack open a coke and burn a candle for these guys in dedication of the wonderful few years of music making. all good things come oh too soon to an end. it doesn’t seem like they’ll be venturing down under any time soon. so i’ll just have to wait for the 50year reunion to see them. grr…
i know what you mean. i can’t get enought of them. i was trying to play one of their songs on the guitar. i could find the tablature on the internet anywhere. so, i emailed the guy that runs their record label’s website (Shinkansen). I asked him if he knew where I could get the tab from. He forwarded my email to the singer of TBS. He wrote me back and said there is no tab, formally written out. But he said he would figure it out for me and email me back. He was really nice and I got to say thank you for making such beautiful music.
